One of our recent projects: The Family Arcade
This family's arcade room features 6 generations of gaming devices, from NES to XBox One. The "Tetris Wall" storage shelf and custom media console were built by Josh Hebert at Marlin Construction of Houma, while DJ Chauvin of First Circuit provided all of the tech lighting.
Using speakers and electronics by Onkyo, Sony, KEF, Sonance and Boston Acoustics, this system also serves as a full blown multi-media home entertainment system with serious horse-power. The 80" Sony XBR 4K TV brings everything to life brilliantly.
The top of the media console features a dual layer of buffed out plexiglass, diffusing the 60-plus underlying LED bulbs that illuminate the clear vinyl graphics on top.
The room's "Tetris Wall" stores all of the controllers, gaming discs and cartridges.
The "Pac-Man Wall" was designed to house all of the ping-pong balls and paddles.
Strategically placed LED ambiance lighting illuminate the ping pong balls and paddles.
Pac-Man "ghosts" hide the paddles when they're not in use.
The room's vintage Midway Pac-Man machine was beautifully restored by Josh Hebert of Marlin Construction.
